Event Details

DNR Hunter Safety patron needs to come to both classes but only registers for the Monday class. Students age 10 and up will learn responsible behavior, safe gun skills, and gun handling with respect to the sport of hunting. This course does not contain live fire training. The students will have a written exam and firearm handling exercise, and will receive a DNR Hunter Education Card upon successful completion of the classes. This class will encourage self-confidence for hunting but also to encourage a respect for all of our natural resources. Each participant needs to pick up a free Today’s Hunter Manual available here at the library after July 12. The Parent/Guardian Agreement and all chapter review must be completed by the first class. Registration required.
